Olsen Kundig selects two-story Fabricoil coiled wire fabric architectural mesh drapery system for lobby refresh in Austin

Sarabi Studio provided the architectural metals package at 100 Congress Avenue including Fabricoil coiled wire fabric metal mesh curtains from Cascade Architectural

Sarabi Studio provided the architectural metals package for the Olsen Kundig designed refresh of 100 Congress Avenue in Austin, TX. The update of the lobby space included two-story 1/4" 18-gauge steel coiled wire fabric panels powder-coated in a Graphite finish and seamlessly spliced on-site for a continuous wall covering aesthetic using the architectural metal mesh curtains. The panels are mounted using a custom attachment system integrated into a niche in the ceiling above and accented by an LED lighting system that washes over the mesh for added ambiance.

Olsen Kundig and Sarabi Studio also included a few perforated steel panels and many other metal accents to complete the space which is now anchored by a coffee shop and several distinct seating areas that contribute to the community building lobby's inviting atmosphere.
